From Friday, November 14 through Sunday, November 16, Allenspark Lodge B&B welcomes a Puzzle Retreat Weekend in the heart of Colorado — and yes: space is still available!

Set at our cozy historic mountain lodge in the village of Allenspark, Colorado, the weekend offers a calm, inspiring backdrop for puzzle lovers and those craving a change of pace. Our lodge is described as “a polished rustic log lodge… just off the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway” and invites you to “unplug, unwind, just be”.
Here’s how we’re shaping this retreat:
- Work through your favorite jigsaw, logic puzzles, or any project you bring — the space is set up for uninterrupted progress.
- Gather in our dedicated meeting/retreat space — the Sun Room or similar flexible craft/retreat room that the lodge offers.
- Enjoy comfortable accommodations: each night you stay in one of our eleven unique rooms, then wake to a hearty family-style breakfast.
- Explore the mountain scenery in your downtime. Allenspark is nestled amid national forest and near Rocky Mountain National Park — perfect for a short hike, fresh air breaks, or simply soaking in the views.
- Make new friends: puzzle-enthusiasts are coming together, so you’ll have companionship, inspiration and maybe even a friendly puzzle challenge or two.
What to Expect
Schedule at a glance
- Friday afternoon (Nov 14): Arrival at the lodge, check-in, settle into your room, choose your space in the retreat room and maybe enjoy a glass of something warm by our fireplace.
- Saturday (Nov 15): A full-day of puzzle work — set up your project, spread out, enjoy snacks, coffee/tea, perhaps an optional outdoor stroll. Evening wrap-up with conversation, maybe a movie or library time in the lodge.
- Sunday (Nov 16): Finish off your puzzle time, take one last break in the mountains, enjoy our final breakfast and checkout.
Included in the weekend:
- Two nights lodging in the Lodge
- Access to the retreat room (Sun Room or equivalent) for the whole duration — leave your project out the whole time.
- Hot family-style breakfast both mornings
- Use of the lodge’s shared spaces — great room, library, rec room (if you’d like a change of scenery)
